Academic Coach Job Description


The Homework Club is a California non-profit education agency that works in partnership with schools and districts. We also offer lower than average private tutoring for those families who need one to one tutoring.

To apply for this job you will already have tutoring experience. Helping students understand their assignments and prepare for exams is often the top priority. Motivating a student to work at their best is all part of this vocation. A successful tutor will be very happy working with students who struggle; their successes are the tutor's best moments. Along with helping a student academically. They also write a daily report to inform the family of the day's progress.

These reports are a snapshot of the student's session and also serve as the invoice for the parents. These are to be done after each session.
