Community Leader's Responsibilities:
Open new sites with assistance from The Homework Club and your school principal
Maintain student enrollment
Inform parents about The Homework Club program. We will provide you with flyer masters ready for you to duplicate.
Speak with parents regarding site-specific questions or concerns.
Hire teachers who want to work for Homework Club after school.
Manage staff to make sure that teachers have substitutes when necessary
Homework Club Responsibilities
Train and support community leaders and after school staff
Provide duplication masters for flyers, training manuals, site management software, etc.
The Milestone Study Skills System training modules are available online and all staff members are required to complete them. Understanding the Milestone System is critical for helping your struggling students.
Providing liability insurance coverage to sites.
Register parents by phone and provide initial orientation to Homework Club during the conversation.
Handle all billing and collections.
Handle all questions about monthly bills.
Manage payroll for staff.
Comply with all tax laws, unemployment insurance requirements, etc.
Provide access for tutors and parents to our automated reporting system.
Parents receive daily email progress reports.
Parents gain direct access to e-mail communication with tutors.
Tutors, school faculty, administration, and community leaders gain access to chronological reports on every student.

Increasing student achievement
Assisting in conversations with parents regarding particular occurrences
